I stayed here for a trip and will be returning here soon. the views at this very good budget hotel were superb. - My room was well-appointed and brand-new, including a small lounge area and storage. - the staff was hard-working, friendly, and efficient. - the service was very good, and they shared some useful information. - the location was unbeatable, close to the city center.

Thank you for a peaceful stay in February. The staff is hard-working, the breakfast is fresh. The property has a comfy location, it's next to a bus stop. It is next to Restaurante Chalet, where you can have lunch. The restaurant is good, serves delicious dishes.

Their breakfast is very cramped, can be better.

Local area, very central location close enough to restaurants, supermarkets, buses, taxis, harbour, the town center for shops and bars and restaurants, and the centre to the left and the lido to the right. Fresh made and satisfactory breakfast with wine, cold drinks.

The room I booked was kept very clean and available with a shower curtain, a good size balcony, and garden. the location was excellent and absolutely perfect in a good area. - I often visited the poolside bar.

The venue was set in the very central position near to excellent restaurants nearby. The staff were very competent and caring and provided a good service.

Perfect location in a residential area close to nearby attractions. Easy access to Forte Sao Jose. - Decent sized, recently renovated room. - High-quality bathroom amenities provided.

Staff were very professional. We were allocated a room on the top floor which was very noisy due to the air conditioning units on the roof. We requested a move and were offered a room on the second floor with an offer to move again if this was not to our liking. The hotel offers excellent value for money; very high standards of cleanliness, good choice and quality of breakfasts, convenient location for easy walking into Funchal centre or Lido and hotel district. Easy access from airport bus and access to other bus routes. The pool area is well maintained with plenty of loungers, sun shades and a nice poolside bar. There was a good mix of nationalities staying and we would recommend this hotel as a very good base for a stay in Funchal.

The only downsides were the proximity to the main road into Funchal with the accompanying traffic noise and that the room furniture was somewhat dated. We would recommend the upgrade to a seaview and balcony room but not on the top floor.

Excellent value for money. Rooms cleaned well daily and towels changed.excellent location handy for public transport.plenty of sun beds

Bar closed early at 11pm. Looks dated from outside.didnt have evening meal but didnt look very appetising anyway

The room was renovated and quite confortable (above the rest of the hotel). The price was very competitive.

The hotel is not very modern so the facilities are a bit old-fashioned

Having visited Madeira many times, we found the location of this hotel very good, halfway between the town and harbour and the Lido area. The breakfast was plentiful, staff pleasant, wonderful view from our balcony, pool area pleasant, overall good value.

No tea making facilities in the room, and no toiletries in bathroom except soap in a dispenser on the wall, not a problem for us as we take our own, but some people find this an inconvenience.

Tasty breakfast with bacon, pastries, and pancakes - it was so good! Thinking about coming back here on my next trip to try it all over again 🥓🥐🥞.

Very good position and excellent value. Top floor terrace has wonderful views.

Nice hotel the food excelent also the breakfast real good. Service of employes very nice and friendly,.Real helpfull I recommend this to anyone also close also to the buses and nice walking trips.
